SHOWCASING STARTUPS
The highlight of the evening will be “Showcasing few more start-up entrepreneurs”. This is the third edition of the event to showcase “Start-ups”. This repeat program is being arranged on popular demand, as the earlier event was highly successful and beneficial to all participants. The following companies will be briefly presenting their success stories at the event:-
Verbicio Labs
Verbicio Labs Pvt Ltd is a fledgling company based at Startup Village, Kochi providing new, unique and refreshing change in the field of education and career. In a short span Verbicio has been able to capture the mindshare of its target segment for its various advertising initiatives and launched educational and career web solution that have won rave reviews. Their product portfolio includes – Examvoice, a free voice+slide based tutorial site, where people can share content specific to an exam or subject, and get rewarded for viewing as well as uploading. Bagyourjob, a job site which is absolutely free to view and apply for job. Bagyourjob also includes a strong emphasis on ease of use and good features helping the job makers find their potential talent in the diversely talented employee bank.The site was officially launched by Shri. K V Thomas (Ex Minister of Consumer Affairs) on 8th, April 2013. Midhun Sankar, CEO & Co founder will make a presentation.
Ethos Entertainment
Ethos Entertainment is a boutique content production and distribution house, specializing in faith & family friendly entertainment for worldwide audience. Ethos was founded in 2011, by Pradeesh Pushpakaran, former Acquisition Head of Sony Pictures. We are also the distributors for Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Pogo etc, where we distribute their programs to our 500+ retail network. Our recent animated film ‘The Story of Jesus 3D’ has secured distribution in 27 countries in all platforms including Home Video, Broadcast & VOD. The film is being dubbed in 11 different languages, and will get released in US on November 20th. We currently have two titles in post-production stage, and another two under production. 3friends who share a common dream of solving real world problems using the power of technology founded Problem Solving Laboratories. Their product ‘Comforide’ is a real-time technology platform for ridesharing. It is a web & mobile based solution that empower ground transport, helping people to hail cabs & share their rides, thereby saving cost and reducing carbone mission.
